Gotham Writers Food Writing Course

At the end of 2024, I completed a 10-week online course to sharpen my food writing skills. As a part of this class, I penned this short memoir about core childhood memories centered around my favorite condiment: ketchup.

Throwin' It Back

The year was 2013. Vine was still alive and kicking, people were doing the Harlem Shake for some reason, and I was in my second year of college. As an assignment for one of my Multimedia Writing courses, I was tasked to create a newsletter for a local, on-campus organization including layout, copy, and interviews. This was a difficult feat, but great practice for both long- and short-form content.

Please forgive my horrendous grammar, punctuation, and overall sense of humor. I was still learning, OK?!
